Hi! We're Reece and Georgie. If you're interested, here's a little bit more about us.
I've been creating things since I was very little, and made my first short film when I was thirteen. After that I began practicing photography, taking acting classes, and growing a keen interest in directing live theatre. Once I reached eighteen, I realised that I could combine all of my passions in film, and so went to study Film Production at the University of Salford, where I met Reece. We graduated in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and were struggling to thrive in Manchester. So we decided to move back to the Isle of Man, and began developing our idea for a media company. And thus, Crebbinsdale Media was born - and I couldn't be happier!
I have always loved drawing - the margins in my school notebooks were always filled with doodles - and film has captured my imagination since as early as I can remember. I remember creating daft little animations using PowerPoint when I was younger because I didn't know how else to do it, and I didn't have access to a film camera or editing software. It wasn't until university that I was able to bring all of these interests together, learning how to use equipment that I didn't even realise existed beforehand. I was drawn to editing and sound design, though I also enjoyed operating the camera as well. When I met Georgie, we realised that our skills complimented each other perfectly, so starting a company together made perfect sense.
